Jose Mourinho's Record Still Speaks for Itself

Jose Mourinho and Chelsea Football Club parted ways today by mutual consent as revealed by the official website of the club, www.chelseafc.com after losing his 9th English Premier League game of the season which left the team languishing in 16th place with 15 points in 16 games.

Despite this, Jose Mourinho still boasts the best points per game ratio of managers in the Premier League and is still the best Chelsea manager of all time with 7 trophies in two spells (2004-2007 and 2013-2015).

He's still the Special One.

The battle for the most coveted piece of silverware in English football continues this weekend, with the promise of two fiercely contested London derbies in the offing. Neymar showed once again why he is been tipped as the heir to Messi and Ronaldo's dominance in the Balon d'Or by putting in a fine display as Brazil all but booked a spot at next year's FIFA World Cup in Russia with  a 3-0 home win against Paraguay. Neymar was the Captain for the day, his first time of wearing the armband since March last year and he didn't fail to impress as he scored his 52nd international goal. Philippe Coutinho scored the first goal of the encounter 10 minutes before the recess after combining with Paulinho, who scored a hattrick against Uruguay a few days back. Neymar then scored the second from the penalty spot after 64 minutes. Marcelo put some gloss on the scoreline with four minutes remaining to hand the CONMEBOL leaders their ninth successive victory under Coach Tite. What a way to qualify for the World Cup.
